Laird Management is a local family owned company that manages and operates over 25 Burger King restaurants statewide. Laird Management’s founder, Mitchell C. Laird, is a practicing attorney for 40 years with 20 years’ experience as a Burger King franchisee. Michael Laird purchased the company from his father, Mitchell and is one of the largest Burger King franchisees in Arizona. Laird Management employs over 600 employees.

Michael Laird is a veteran of the United States Army. He served two combat tours in Iraq with the 101st Airborne, 1/187 Infantry Regiment. He is a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a B.S. in Justice Studies. He graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Masters in Business Administration. In addition, Michael currently serves as president of the Southwest Franchisee Association. Laird Management has a management team in place whose combined years of loyalty, service and experience exceed 100 years.

I started my career with Burger King in 1997. I began as a regular team member taking orders and cleaning restrooms. I stuck with Burger King because I love what they stand for. I eventually relocated to Arizona to be part of the team with Laird Management and have been here ever since. I am now a District Manager in Tucson. With Laird, I was able to really grow. I was RGM at 6 different locations. I was awarded Manager of the Year in 2012. I helped open 2 brand new restaurants. This Franchisee is by far the best I have worked for. Everyone cares and exemplifies our motto "Be Good to People". Thanks.
